Family Play Projects

Our Family Play Projects are run especially for families to come and play together. The whole family is welcome and the whole Playhouse is open to you! We love getting to know you and your child, and welcoming you into our Yorda family.

Whilst you are here, a Playworker will be around for a friendly chat, to play and to give you a little extra support throughout the session. This is a safe environment for your child, for meeting other Yorda families and spending time having fun together.

Our Family Projects are exclusively for any family who has a young person with special educational needs and learning disabilities (SEND). You do not need to qualify for our Specialist Childcare to attend these sessions.

Ages: 0-17

Please fill out our registration form if you wish to attend a family project. We ask all of our families to fill this in so that we can make the Playhouse the most friendly, inviting and safe space for your family:

You will also find the registration form when booking through the link below, or by emailing our family team directly.

As of 2021, our family projects are based at the Playhouse and currently include:

Once Covid-19 restrictions have completely lifted we are looking towards extending our family projects to trips and activities out and about in the community.
